NOVA POSTMARK ALERT - Club member Jerry Weirich reports a new NOVA spray postmark and asks members to check their mail for them. Per Jerry NOVA started using the "Thinking of You" cancel on 19 September. The cancels use military time rather than the PM designation. Last year, NOVA used military time for only a short period of time before changing back to PM... and there is only recorded one cover existing (from 2023). It is not known if this year's use of military time will be short-lived or not, but everyone should monitor their mail for possible examples. The 2024 examples may or may not be significant as 2023 will be. If you find one of these postmarks please send scans to sscvainfo@gmail.com. For additional information about the experimental NOVA spray postmarks please Jerry’s presentation (click here).
